The Next 365 Days, the newest part in Netflix’s massively popular — and highly contentious — erotica series, has here.
The steamy picture returns to the twisting dynamic between Massimo (Michele Morrone) and Laura (Anna-Maria Sieklucka),
but twists the formula by introducing a third character who threatens to break their relationship: Nacho (Simone Susinna), who returns from 365 Days: This Day.
While all of this is going on, The Next 365 Days is laying down some amazing sounds.
What better way to get into the spirit than with these amazing bangers?
Remember, this is Netflix’s response to 50 Shades of Grey.
The Next 365 Days soundtrack covers a wide range of musicians, although there’s a lot of EMO music on there, as well as a few tracks by Tommy Docherty.
And 365 Days fans will be pleased to discover that Morrone contributes to the soundtrack, demonstrating his own musical abilities.
The actor was able to take time away from his hectic schedule as Massimo to record some songs for The Next 365 Days.
His song “Angels” is on the soundtrack of the newest iteration of the series, and Massimo has also composed music for prior versions.
Massimo discussed in an interview with Decider how his current single and past songs were used in films.
“I’ve always played guitar,” he said.
I’ve always written music throughout my life, but I never imagined doing it for a living.
I used to be an actress.
I was concentrating on acting.
But, when on location for the first picture, I was conversing with the director, who asked me what I liked to do apart from acting.
“And I said, ‘I adore writing music.'”
And he said, ‘All right, let me listen to some of them.'”
Massimo went on.
“And I played ‘Dark Room,’ and he fell in love, and he said, ‘Why don’t we use this song in the movie?'”
The song was in the film, and the film blew out, and then I received a call from Universal, and everything occurred.”
While his song “Angels” appears in an X-rated film, Massimo told Decider that he created it with his own children in mind: “It’s simply a dream that I had about me and my baby soaring like angels in the sky, playing in the skies, bouncing in the clouds.”
