Christians Deserve Respect – Dr Paul Enenche
– 2023 Presidency: Dr Enenche Says It’s Time For Action
The senior pastor and founder of Abuja-based Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr Paul Enenche has called out 2023 Presidency candidates and politicians in general for Christians deserve respect ahead of the general elections.
The outspoken man of God who spoke during the church’s Healing and Deliverance program on Tuesday, said some politicians in Nigeria have pushed Christians to the wall for too long without any regard.
The call came following the announcement of a Muslim-Muslim ticket by the All Progressives Congress, APC despite calls and warning of the danger it could pose to the country’s balance.
Speaking on Live Dunamis TV, Dr Paul Enenche said, “You know, some seven to eight years ago, some people arrived and said they wanted to give us change. I am sure you have seen the CHANGE – Loss of lives, flow of blood.
“All manner of banditry, kidnapping, unbelievable insecurity, unbelievable level of poverty, unbelievable level scarcity and shortage, lives being cut short like water and all manner of terrible things that have continued to confront us as a nation till this present moment.
“Servicemen, soldiers die in the hands of criminals like water, that is the CHANGE that people talked about.
“Nobody should be afraid of the mess that is going on today in the political circle because we have a God in heaven that will answer us by fire.
Anything they want, let them do now, but when Jehovah steps in, there will be a drastic CHANGE.
“Don’t be worried about who somebody picked as president or who they picked as vice president, it doesn’t matter, that is just the decision of man.
“There are people who don’t think the church matters. They have taken the Church and Christianity for granted for too long, but the God we serve is about to answer them by fire and He will show them who owns the land.
“Let the people come out and speak; stop playing coward. Silence most times means consent, you must not agree to be silent anymore. Evil shall not rule our land.
“The people of this country have been docile for too long, as if they have been charmed. You know that a goat does not bite, but when you push it to the wall, it will show you its teeth.
“In this season, any attempt to subvert the will of the people will be met with a shocking response. Any attempt to further impose evil on our land, they will be shocked at what they will see.
“Imagine where they have brought us: Nigeria is now number one country for religious intolerance globally, almost top in poverty, terrorism, and yet, they want everyone to keep quiet as if everything is normal, never!
The Giant of Africa has now been almost turned into a despicable nation without respect. In some countries of the world today, when you arrive and mention that you are from Nigeria, you lose your respect immediately. First, they put you aside; they finish with others and check you like a criminal. It is ending now!
“It must be right with Nigeria because if it is right with us, it is right with Africa and with other nations of the world.”
Dr Paul Enenche has since joined the growing list of clerics that have voiced their worries on the highly anticipated 2023 presidency election.
