Husband and wife duo Alabaster Grace latest single, “Heal Our Land,” has been resonating with listeners across the America since their recent performance of the song at the state of Virginia’s 56th annual Commonwealth Prayer Breakfast before an audience that included Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin.
Brad Perry, a highly decorated former NASA rocket scientist, and his wife, Joanie Perry, a dedicated educator together known professionally as Alabaster Grace have committed their creativity, intellect, and passion to make music that is thoughtful, insightful, and reverent.
“Heal Our Land” checks each of those boxes and then some. The song, which released to Christian radio stations across the country from Westar Media Group, was penned by Joanie Perry, Alabaster Grace’s primary songwriter, with guitar arrangement by the group’s guitarist, Brad Perry. “Heal Our Land” was produced by multiple Dove Award-winning producer Chris Bevins (producer and keyboards for Selah, Salvador, Jaci Velasquez, Christine D’Clario).
Joanie Perry’s beautiful vocals are complemented by Brad Perry’s innovative lead guitar. The powerful production elevates the impassioned lyrics, and the studio version of the song features Joanie and Brad Perry backed by some of Nashville’s finest musicians, including drummer Dan Needham (Amy Grant, Jeremy Camp, Michael McDonald, Sting), guitarist Mike Payne (Casting Crowns, Francesca Battistelli, Mandisa, Lauren Daigle, Natalie Grant), and bassist Jacob Lowery (Gaither Vocal Band, Seth & Nirva).
