Sisters pat Edward and Efa Edward Onen have been singing together in praiseband since their undergraduate days at the University of calabar chapel of Redemption for over a decade. The Edward sisters are known for their solo work, tight harmonies. Their repertoire consist of a variety of gospel jazz, blues, hippop and gospel music generally. Their first cover was recorded in 2016 under the group ” D’Milland sisters” produced by Ossimilland. The group’s first public performance was in 2012 during the calabar carnival (gospel night) where they performed along side with chivrel Franklin, Lara George and other gospel ministers.
D Edward sisters are avid song writers and lead singers in their various churches. Pat is a member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God RCCG and a die hard follower of Apostle Joshua Selman, Kononia Abuja. While Efa is a lead singer in House on the rock Jos.
Pat is a graduate from the University of Calabar with plans of continuing her schooling to become an academic Doctor. She is also a certified teacher and presently taking advance courses in music.
Efa is a graduate of history and international studies from the University of Calabar. She started singing as a teenager. Efa splits her time pursuing her dreams and running a business.
More than words is an inspiration of the indescribable nature of our awesome God. It’s a song which tries to eulogise the magnitude of God’s wonders based on our experience and the many testimonies. When God does amazing things sometimes they’re just more than words can describe.
